’Nothing is too big to be made small and nothing can be big enough’ that is what true for things that are important. Things that you need or would like. It grabs your attention. Leaves a wish to long for. This is true for things that are big. Those small. Everything that is near’

’I want my things to breathe lust, consideration and glamour regardless if it’s a piece of jewellery or a piece for everyday use’. By exploring and transform the things we have in the everyday of our lives Caroline continues her mission to lift these things to something that is also graced with beauty, lust and pleasure

Her pieces live in the space between jewellery and corpus. Many have a practical purpose and made especially for a job yet they are so beautifully crafted that they feel like pieces of jewelry.

Her work is characterised by her clean language of form, the pieces functionality and the craftsmanship of the details. Mixing exclusive materials with everyday needs surprises and creates unique pieces. She enjoys finding intriguing solutions, different closures and locks.

Born 1968 in Stockholm, where she lives and works. Since her MFA examination 1996 in Metaldeisgn from the design school Konstfack in Stockholm has she been working as a silversmith. A member of the gallery group Nutida Svenskt Silver (Stockholm) since 1997 and has had many separate exhibitions there. She now splits her time between exhibitions, customer orders and starting the latest venture in 2007 HAPPYsthlm together with Kajsa Aronsson and Katarina Andersson, two inspiring colleagues!
